​TARiiiQ, Tariq Bakir is a MC, DJ and producer in Edmonton, Canada, originally from Palestine. His style is versatile and modern, and shows an appreciation to the roots and foundations. TARiiiQ built a name for himself through his “true school" boom-bap hip-hop tracks with fierce bars and jazzy aesthetics. A conscious artist by nature, Tariq has focused his efforts on activism in hip-hop. Not one to be “pigeon-holed” he has evolved his sound by incorporating trap, downtempo, lofi, and psychedelic sonics.

Since 2019, TARiiiQ has been contributing to his discography with multiple singles and a full length LP in 2024. He has since over half a million collective streams, and played notable performances with a full band  including: Starlite Room (headline set), North Country Fair, JazzFest, Starbelly Jam, and a feature slot at Shambhala.
Versatility is his weapon as he lays his fierce bars and delivery over boom bap beats and beyond.
